After worship update:
On Sunday, June 28th, we were blessed to have Rev. Laura Lupton as our guest in the pulpit on Facebook Live while Rev. Taylor was away. In case you didn’t catch her comments, she mentioned several resources to help us better understand racism in our country. They include:
- A Ted Talk by William Ury entitled The Walk from No to Yes
- Waking Up White by Debbie Irving
- 21-Day Racial Equity Challenge at Myers Park Presbyterian Church
- Blood Done Signed My Name: A True Story by Timothy B. Tyson
The books would make for great discussion during the summer months.
