Bianka receives her lifetime membership pin from Melanie Hawes
On Women’s Sunday, September 26, 2021, the Presbyterian Women of Jonesboro Presbyterian Church honored Bianka Stumpf with Lifetime Membership in their group. The award was presented by Melanie Hawes. Melanie stressed that Bianka embodied Ephesians 6:7-8 which reads, “serve wholeheartedly as you were serving the Lord, not people, because you know that the Lord will reward each one for whatever good they do.”
Melanie went on to enumerate the many ways that Bianka serves in the city of Sanford community. In addition, Bianka has been an active member of Jonesboro Presbyterian Church since 2008. She, along with husband, Ty, and children, Cora and Jude, have felt at home here. Bianka has “joyfully taught Sunday School classes, helped with Bible School, Wonderful Wednesday, and talent time. She has served in the Women of the Church as the Leadership chair and has been an active participant in the Circle of Faith. She has served on Session and was the Chair of the Christian Education Committee. [Bianka] spearheaded the Preschool Room Renovation project.” Through their family’s lemonade stand, $20,000 has been raised for the American Cancer Society. Bianka has also coordinated the Salvation Army Christmas Angel Tree enabling children to have a joyful experience of the holidays. Melanie concludes her presentation by saying, “As you can see, Bianka Stumpf has the true heart of a servant and all of us at Jonesboro Presbyterian are unbelievably grateful and blessed to have her here.” We all celebrate your many achievements, Bianka. Congratulations!
